What we do

We take on the work that often gets left undone because it is too specific for off-the-shelf software and too small for a large agency: the form that still goes out as a PDF, the spreadsheet three people edit at once, the invoices that take a day to process every month.

All services are listed under Services. For retailers we also run our own platform: Catalyst prepares product data with AI, with published prices (page in German).

What we have built

We would rather show than promise, so we only list what actually exists.

• Online application assistant for a German federal funding agency: design and build of a multi-step, configuration-driven application journey with guided data entry, validation, PDF output and export into the existing systems. Built, accepted and handed over. A follow-up contract for two funding portals is in progress. We do not name the client.
• Catalyst: our product data platform, with categorisation down to leaf level (including the eBay, Shopify and Google Shopping taxonomies), product descriptions, bullet points and attribute extraction.
• Our own apps for Shopify, WooCommerce and Shopware that check product copy for legally sensitive claims.
• Germany district atlas: 14 indicators from official statistics and Wikidata for all 401 German districts on one map, at atlas.schwerpunkt.tech.
• A demo for every service at demo.schwerpunkt.tech (mostly in German) and an English grant application demo at apply.schwerpunkt.tech. What is real: the application journey runs on our real engine with a fictional trust, the migration tool works with your own files in your browser, and the status page shows real measurements from our servers, taken every five minutes. Apart from the district atlas and the status page, all names and data in the demos are fictional.

How we work

1. 1Intro call: no obligation, about 30 minutes. You tell us what is holding you back, and we tell you honestly whether software is the right answer.
2. 2Concept with a clickable prototype: you see what will be built before it is built, with a fixed price for each stage.
3. 3Delivery in stages: you can test after every stage before the next one starts.
4. 4Hosting or handover: if you wish, we host and maintain the application; otherwise we hand it over with documentation.

What you can rely on

• Prices up front: after the intro call we quote a fixed price for each stage before any code is written.
• Accessibility: we build to WCAG 2.2 level AA, with particular care for forms. See our accessibility audit.
• Hosting in Germany: applications we run are hosted on servers in Nuremberg (Hetzner), with a data processing agreement.
